Frequently Asked Questions

Once you have submitted your application to us, we will then be working hard in the background gathering everything we need from either 3rd parties involved with who you are claiming against or from yourself. This usually takes a couple of weeks in some cases sooner, but we have to be thorough with all documents. Once have everything we need, we then start to investigate for you. Once we have made a decision we will let you know by email, phone call, or even post (if you have no access to a computer). You will receive automatic updates by email on your status throughout the process and friendly check-in calls with your agent. You can check the status of your claim at any time, and we will let you know as soon as we can.

If the advice was not suitable for you, we will try to put you back into the position you would have been in had you been properly advised.  This may include refunding losses you have suffered as a result, such as interest repayments. This will be investigated and you will be advised upon the level of loss suffered. If your claim goes through the FSCS, you could receive up to £85,000 in compensation.

But we do chase them regularly to get you a decision as soon as possible. We’ve seen a big increase in the volume of pension claims. We’re responding to these as quickly as possible, and working to reduce the amount of time each one takes to resolve. It’s important to claims as soon as possible if you think you may of been mis-sold as time can be limited on certain pay outs.
